Pharma Test Germany have redesigned the automated sampling manifold (called EPE) for the PTWS 1420 tablet dissolution tester to allow for manual sampling from the front of the instrument through connectors on the front side of the EPE.
While the instrument in this configuration is primarily designed for automated sample withdrawal, many customers also require manual samplings at least from time to time. For example the samples during a PVT performance verification test with USP calibrator tablets are usually manually samples, even when the dissolution system itself is equipped for automated sampling.
